This course teaches students the beginnings of civilization (A.D. 589) to the twentieth century (1882-1900). In addition to learning this important history, the students will see how past choices, kingdoms, cultures and peoples influence our world today. Students will come away with a knowledge of where this world has been and where they would like to take it. This course will also help them see the importance of learning from the past to make themselves better citizens for the future.
